Bos should take a chance on embiid

12 Jul 2015 13:55:40
Sixers pass.

12 Jul 2015 14:36:40
Sixers are all-in for Embiid. They'll wait for as long as necessary. Meanwhile, Okafor and Noel get better and better.

12 Jul 2015 16:03:48
Sixers are concerned it could be career threatening so well see

The king

Even if it is a career ending injury the Sixer have to wait it out. You can't trade a guy when his value is so low. He's not making that much money. As far as I'm concerned. The guys like Dario saric to me. He's not here until he actually takes the court. Sixers have to move on like he's not there and then be surprised if he shows up.

12 Jul 2015 17:15:24
He's making about 4.5 mill which is I think third or fourth highest in the team but for the 3rd pick that's a lot invested in him

13 Jul 2015 03:43:49
The king.

but 4.5 million in this day and age of a 70 million salary cap is nothing for the Sixers. We're still like ten million under already.

13 Jul 2015 14:38:03
Sixers look like they're at $44.7 million on their cap for this year. The cap is a tad over $67 million.

They have so much space they could take on another Stauskas type trade now or at the trade deadline like they did for McGee and still have room to spare.

I'm thinking that Charlotte is the next target. Hello Marvin Williams?

13 Jul 2015 15:51:32
Williams is expiring so why would they trade him

13 Jul 2015 18:40:05
i laugh at 76er fans thinking Embiid or Noel will ever be anything. lmao

Luxury tax kicks in at around $81.6m. The Hornets are above that without signing their first rounder, Kaminski. They might want to move a player/contract to avoid the tax. In addition, his effectiveness is questionable and his minutes would get in the way of Kaminski's minutes.

Just a thought.

Hey CWJ:

What's up with that? Noel had a good rookie year. Made the all rookie first team. Was a defensive menace. Showed an improved offensive game in the second half once MCW was traded. Proved himself healthy and recovered from his knee injury. Why you hating in Noel?

Embiid is an injury problem, for sure. But most people have taken the direction of showing sympathy for the kid, not mocking the fans that are rooting for his return to good health.

Williams has 7 mill left I still think teams would keep there players unless they can go under the cap
