Sixers last year traded MCW, a PG that couldn't shoot (who was still on his rookie contract).

I doubt they'd trade Wroten for another PG that can't shoot (who just got a $50+M contract extension and appears to be injury prone, missing 135 games in his 4 year career).

With all their future picks, I think they're just plugging the PG gap right now and will fill it through next year's draft. But I kind of wish they'd get a real PG now too.

24 Jul 2015 21:03:07
1) you made the Pelicans way worse
2) levine is a pg.? don't think so
3) why would the 76ers want to make their god awful, but extremely young team older and worse?

24 Jul 2015 22:16:30
It's spelled Lavine, and he is absolutely not a point guard. And the Wolves would not want the ovrepaid, injury-prone Eric Gordon

24 Jul 2015 22:19:34
Rubio is top five point he outpayed the dream team untill the rdfs sloyed him down just needs to stay heathly anb people eill see basketball at its best

24 Jul 2015 23:00:26
And just to defend Rubio a bit, he is only 24 so he really wouldn't make the 76ers that much older, and while I agree he can't shoot, I am not so sure about labeling him as injury prone just yet, most of those games missed were from his act tear at the end of his 1st year and going into his wnd year. His third year he started all 82 games and last year he was injured more often. And he is definitely a better point guard then Wroten

24 Jul 2015 23:16:54
@Phillyrich you forgot the 2011-2012 season was shortened, he has only missed around 110 games in his career

25 Jul 2015 06:45:51
@fatpat did you just say Rubio is a top 5 PG? Rubio is a magician with the ball but what value does a guard who can't defend or shoot have in today's NBA? He's not even top 15.
In no order.
Curry
Westbrook
Paul
Wall
Irving
Lillard
Parker
Conley
Teague
Bledsoe
Knight
Dragic
Rose
Lowry
(sober, motivated) Lawson
Jackson
AND ARGUABLY.
Walker
Carter-Williams
Thomas
Schroeder
Holiday

25 Jul 2015 13:57:25
Rubio is a very good defensive point guard, he is always near the top of theeagle and steals and and the teams defensive ratings are improved when he is on the court

25 Jul 2015 14:00:22
Rubio is absolutely better than Lawson and all of those guys underneath him, you feed into the media bias a little too much, although he can't score, every statistic show he improves the Wolves offensively and defensively when he is on the court

25 Jul 2015 14:04:39
^Rubio can defend. Look at the different number for Minnesota for when Rubio is on the court vs off it.

25 Jul 2015 15:51:56
Maybe because Rubio tries for the most steals and finally gets them after trying 50 times. There are 20 better point guards than Rubio in the league

25 Jul 2015 19:15:56
Have you ever watched Rubio play? Yes he takes chanced but the stats still show that the Wolves are much better defensively when Rubio is on the court. Rubio is a Top 15 point guard and if he learns to shoot he will be a Top 10

25 Jul 2015 22:50:31
The list by warriors every pg besides maybe Dennis Schroeder are all better than rubio

25 Jul 2015 22:50:59
If I didn't watch him than how do I know he takes a lot of chances?

26 Jul 2015 04:33:13
You can listen to the media pretty easily, which seems to be what you are doing.
and Without a doubt Rubio is better than
Walker
MCW
Thomas
Schroeder
Holiday
Lawson
Jackson
And is Arguably impacts games as much as
Teague
Knight
Bledsoe
Dragic

Whether he takes chances or not (and he does, just not as many as you seem to think), Rubio is always among the league leaders in assists, steals, and rebounds for a Point Guard. Advanced metrics even show that the Wolves improve significantly on offense when Rubio is on the floor, even with his terrible shooting, and they improve defensively as well. Whether you like it or not, Rubio is a top 15 pg, even if you only want to believe the media bias against him

26 Jul 2015 04:57:11
And just to provide some stats, Chris Paul is generally considered a good defensive pg, comparing the season where Rubio played all 82 games and this last season where Paul played 82 games:

Chris Paul: Defensive Win Share: 3.2 Defensive rating/100 possession :105

Rubio: Defensive Win Share:3.6 Defensive rating/100 possession: 104

26 Jul 2015 15:46:59
Rubio is better the that dumb list warriorboy put out he knows nothing about basketball no 1 is parker then Paul warriors won only because they blayef every one s B team Curry is no a point guard

26 Jul 2015 16:01:05
Walker Thomas holiday Lawson Jackson Teague knight Bledsoe dragic are all better than Rubio and are a lot more important to their teams than him schroder can still improve. Mcw is only in his third season and is better than him also

26 Jul 2015 16:09:08
Tony Parker number one? He said that was in no order anyway. Rubio stats when he played 82 games
9.8 points horrible
8.6 assists great
2.7 turnovers bad
2.3 steals nice
2.7 fouls bad
38 percent fg horrible
31 percent three bad
Only has two good stats

26 Jul 2015 16:30:30
So according to fatpat, Stephen Curry, the reigning MVP is not a PG. And he says I know nothing about basketball.

27 Jul 2015 18:20:27
@Warriorsalltheway

Curry
Westbrook
Paul
Wall
Irving
Lillard
Parker
Conley
Teague
Bledsoe
Knight
Dragic
Rose
Lowry
(sober, motivated) Lawson
Jackson
AND ARGUABLY.
Walker
Carter-Williams
Thomas
Schroeder
Holiday

Did you really list Jeff Teague, Eric NeverGiveUpTheBall Bledsoe, Brandon ShaqtinAFool Knight, and Goran GetMyPointsFromLayUps Dragic all above Rose? And arguebly when Derrick is healthy, he is top 5 PG. (I agree with all above him, excluding the ridiculous ones I listed above, since he is still coming back into form.)
