With Payton, Watson, Olidipo, Hezonja, And Founier already in the backcourt, the trade for Napier may be the beginning to something bigger.

The Magic have the backcourt depth to make a big trade for a PF. Maybe a trade with Philadelphia whom has a plethora of big men and need backcourt help. Also, Philadelphia will be tanking again this year to try to get Ben Simmons who is another PF. And if Philly doesn't end up with the #1 overall pick, they already have 4 1st rounders to trade up with. Maybe getting the Magic's 1st rounder next year will help with that.

I can't see the Magic trading Payton, Oaldipo, Hezonjia, or Napier. They could package Watson, Fournier, Nicholson, and a 1st for a PF, maybe someone like Noel.

I don't think the Sixers are tanking again. They could win 30. They added a professional center in Okafor, moved Noel to PF where I think he's best suited, added two professional big men from the Kings trade, and now (probably/maybe/hopefully) have a real shooting guard in Stauskas. That's 4 more real players than last year. That's a pretty big deal in the NBA.
They'll get about a 5-8 pick in the draft. And with Embiid a question mark, there's no "plethora of big men." He can't be counted on for at least 2 years. If he takes this year to recover, he'll need a full year after that to prove he's healthy and reliable.
But I agree there is something going on in the Orlando back court.
