To get Simmons you will have to be in the top three for e but some sixer fans think that there pick will be 5-8 and they will win 30 games but we'll see

Sixers extremely pass. Grant is a nobody right now. Early hasn't established himself at all yet. Honestly. I wouldn't trad wroten alone for those two wanna-be's unless a pick was involved.

With their stored up load of draft picks AND having the opportunity to swap with the Kings, they can still pick in the top 3 even if they win nearly 30 and finish in the 5-8 range.

I think they win around 30 because last year the started out winning something like 1 out of their first 20 then losing around their last 10.

With the addition of NBA quality players (Okafor, Stauskas, Thompson, Landry) and the removal of some D-league slop, I think they can win 1/3 of those 30 games. That's an addition of about 9 wins onto last year's 18.

Maybe that happens, maybe not. But its a theory.

The king.
I don't see how Sixers won't be in the bottom three next season. They have some talent. SOME. But there young. There a season away from making the junk in wins. I think 20 wins is a fair number to shoot for.

Not really sure what that "wanna-be" comment even meant. Grant is a rookie and looking good so far, and early is a role player. Knicks wouldn't do this trade because they aren't waiting a couple years to see if Embiid, the important piece of the trade, can even play. Wroten is not attractive to the knicks because he really just isn't a good shooter and that's what they focus on in the triangle.

Wroten has been in the league for 3 years now, meaning he should have taken the "next step" What he has done is increased his three point shooting to almost 5 a game, making about 1 per game. His fg % is hovering around 40%. And he was 5th in the league in turnovers, even though he averaged less than 30 minutes per game. Wroten isn't AWFUL, but he really has shown that he isn't a game changer. He would make a nice role player, but that's about it. I know this post will get ripped, and then the knicks will get ripped, but its true. Sorry.

The east didn't get any weaker it got stronger even tougher to get wins. Will be injuries and when was the last time the sixers or any NBA team moved up to the top three? Sixers LOVE their extra picks pretty sure they wouldn't do it. Just give up hope about Kings having a worse record it will never happen. The Kings will fighting for the eighth seed. Thompson and stauskas are quality NBA players? Stauskas had a horrible season and Thompson is overpaid

This is going to be a wild draft. Sixers, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, Toronto and Denver all have extra first rounders to use to move around. Last year, barely anyone had the extra first rounders to use to move around. Boston and Lakers did, but the extra picks were way at the end of the first round.

And yes, Stauskas and Thompson are quality NBA players, granted that Stauskas has some proving to do. As a reference, here are the guys that played on opening night last year:

Starters included Chris Johnson and Henry Simms
Key bench players included Alexey Shved, Brandon Davies, Malcom Thomas

So yeah, the four players they've added thus far that I consider NBA players they added Okafor, Stauskas, Thompson, Landry- are significant upgrades over Johnson, Simms, Shved, Davies and Thomas.

I don't think its crazy with these replacements that they win 30% of the 29/30 games they tossed away at the beginning and end of last season.

Philly. I don't think I'd consider those 4 significant upgrades. The only one who could reasonably considered significant is Okafor, and he hasn't played a minute yet in the league and his defense is more than suspect.

Stauskas averaged 4 pts per game. I know he was a rookie, but so are the people he is significantly upgrading. Landry is no where near where he once was. He is often injured, and when healthy, plays little minutes. You can expect maybe 7 pts and 4 rebounds a game from him and hope for over 50 games. Thompson, nothing good either. He averaged 6 and 6 last year for the KINGS. Their stats are bloated. I really don't see how they sixers win 30% of those games they lost. Really, they have Okafor and Noel. I'm still not convinced this duo would work seeing as the offense will all be within 8 feet of the basket and Noel will basically be taking up space. But really, who else? Wroten shoots very poorly. And I don't even know their guards.

Im sorry, but they may have some youth, a ton of picks, but to expect any vast improvements this year would be unrealistic.

There is no team worse in the east right now than the sixers. magic have good young talent. Knicks improved. Pacers fighting for playoff spot. Pistons hornets have players they can rely on.

skipped all this laughing because philly kid thinks the sixers will win 30 games lmao.
