OKC gets Jeff Green
***Started in OKC and could thrive if put in a new role. He becomes the new sixth man, can spell KD as he returns from injury, and he is a big expiring deal.

MEM gets Joel Embiid, Steve Novak
***Believe it or not, Gasol is the only true center on the roster. Brandon Wright is an efficient big, but he is a natural 4. With Matt Barnes being brought in this offseason, Green could be moved to get shooting and a high potential 5 in Novak and Embiid. This helps them avoid losing Green for nothing.

PHI gets Dion Waiters, future 1st OKC, future 1st MEM
***Waiters is a Philly native and could thrive as a high volume scorer. They move on officially from Embiid after drafting Okafor while scoring two first rounders (even if they are late picks).

Not enough for embiid.

How do you value Embiid?

I don't think he's tradeable until he plays a full season as a healthy player.

And I'm not a huge Waiters fan. By "high volume scorer" you mean he shoots way too much for his level production, right? His 20+ shots per 48 minutes given his scoring is almost unmatched in the league.

Can't trade embiid until he actually can play for two reasons

1 Sixers need to see if he's actually. Superstar or not.
2 why trade a guy when his value is zero. Wait and see if he gets healthy and then decide later if he's worth trading or adding to the core.

Its not way too much or way too little for Embiid. Phillyrich is right, at this point, Embiid is ENTIRELY untradeable. It could be far too much for him if he continues his health record, or far too little if he miraculously heals. got to wait a couple years to see his value, if he ever has any.
