Seems like an ok trade. I don't know why either would do it though. Lakers need all the young guys they can get.

i clicked believable and it is, but I don't want to see this happen after thinking about it. I want to see the young guys get minutes. Blake & Granger aren't going to provide you with anything meaningful so why eat up young guys' minutes? Get them on the court and learn with experience. Trade Kelly & Sacre for 2nd rd pick and sign Upshaw to a contract that they already discussed (2 yr min non-guaranteed 2nd yr)

They would trade for them as mentors not anything more because granger has injuries and Blake was on the laker before

I can see that, but I read that Russell & Clarkson worked out with Nash this summer. I'd rather have Nash as a mentor to those guys than Blake.
It's not a crazy trade, I'd just rather have those roster spots open for young guys to get playing time.

Blake could be a much needed locker room presence and help on the road and stuff. Etc. IQ
