I don't think Roy Hibbert fits Celtics system (Too slow, no spacing) and Celtics already have to many players they need to send 2 players out.
But its true they could use a good defensive center.

hibbert would fit better next to more offensively mined power forwards in lee and sully and with lee and sully there both capable of making the jumpshot

Yeah lakers will be out of playoff running and doing this trade insures them a pick. And new laker dynasty I saw celtics have a rondo tpe from the mavs which expires sometime in December

King- we agree! I really don't think the Lakers are going to be very good. Plus they don't have draft picks as you noted, don't have the anchor superstar anymore, and they're not really a free agent draw.
Not to be a jerk, but I think the Lakers are a franchise in trouble. And I still think Okafor would have been a smarter pick for them than Russell.

Okafor and Randle would not fit together in the future mainly because of there defense and spacing. Russell makes threes passes the ball like crazy create his own shot. His flashiness was made to be in la. Clarkson drives in more makes up for Russell's athleticism. If clarkson Randle and Russell have good years this year if I was a free agent I wouldn't mind going to a young team showing improvement. Though I do agree if we were to go into trouble we would need to get rid of Jim buss.
