Dude philly in real life sixers wouldn't trade more than the okc and Miami pick for clarkson. You trying to take this way to far

23 Aug 2015 18:27:56
Your trying way to hard to be a troll and to be funny

23 Aug 2015 18:39:27
Philly how about Noel okafor embiid sixers lakers heat Thunder kings picks wroten Covington grant Holmes bs Landry to the Blazers for Damian lilard. Seems like a fair trade

23 Aug 2015 19:22:13
Part of making a deal is to understand both sides of the equation. You wouldn't accept the Lakers and Kings picks for Clarkson. In the past you've rejected drafting Okafor because he wouldn't fit with Randal. I'm trying to figure out how to get Clarkson. This is how deals are made.

Assuming Okafor is of higher value than Randal, and assuming there was not enough value for the Lakers in the two picks in return for Clarkson, I'm adding incremental value to the deal.

The deal's on the table:
Sixers get Clarkson and Randal
Lakers get the Lakers and Kings first round picks and Okafor

Take it or leave it. The deal expires when I crack open my happy hour beer. The pot will not be sweetened any further. When I'm done with my beer I'll go to another team and try to get my second choice of guards.

Leave it. Get your second choice of guards and enjoy your beer

23 Aug 2015 22:01:31
There's going to be plenty of available guards so you probably don't have to think about it a lot

23 Aug 2015 23:03:11
Here you go Phillyrich

Clarkson, Hibbert, & '16 2nd rd pick

For Noel, LAL 1st rd pick back & J Grant

I respect your strategy. Cold beer on a hot day works every time. I don't see many obtainable young pg's with a lot of upside. I say we get a serviceable vet( Chalmers, Huertas, Cole) to play point and then draft Jamaal Murray to be the pg for the next 5-7 years.

I really don't like okafor. He just seems one dimensional. He will be an 15 and 8 guy but I'm not sure if he'll get to 20 and 10. He's slow can't make free throws no defense no jumpshot. Randle is very quick starting to show improvement from the jumpshot. Even if his defense is bad he can make up with it with his speed. I'm really glad lakers took my favorite player in the draft rather than okafor

Jvoung your guy huertas signed with another euro team because he received no interest from the NBA. How hot is it in philly anyway

Been out of town. Here's my response:

1. King, you've exposed yourself as a complete phony. I always knew you were but it took this type of incremental approach for you to prove it for the rest to see.

You are not a moron, but a phony. You get your jollies by berating Sixer fans at most every opportunity as overvaluing their players. Look in the mirror. There's no objective person that would reject either the 2 first round picks or the added cherry on top of the Okafor/Randal swap. Clarkson's a good player. He's not Magic Johnson. Get over yourself.

2. Every time there's a trade involving a Sixer that gets rejected by a Sixer fan, from this point forward every Sixer fan should simply say "He's a core player. We want to keep the young core together and let them grow." Under those circumstances, there is no trade EVER that would drag Covington, for example, away from the Sixers. "Sorry, he's a young core player. We reject the offer of . " Your response should be, "Yes, I understand." Instead you belittle and mock as a child would.

3. You didn't want Okafor because he won't be a 20/10 guy and might just be a 15/8 guy. Andrew Bynum was not once a 20/10 guy and even in his best years did not average both 15 and 8. (I said average and I said both.) Although a headcase, Bynum was a very good NBA player that a team could win Championships with. If Okafor turns out to be a healthy Bynum without being a head case, he'll be a darn good NBA center for many years to come. Personally, I think he'll be better- especially because he's a very good passer and has a very strong work ethic and leadership skills.

The problem we have here is one of PERSPECTIVE and OBJECTIVITY. You obviously- based on the above- have none or if you do its consistently shifting yet you mock others for what you consider the same flaw.

Therefore there's no use trying to have an objective debate or dialogue since you are incapable of doing so. Which means there's no use participating on this website.

I may decide to rejoin legitimate conversation in the future.

25 Aug 2015 23:34:22
Look at you Philly mr tough guy aren't we. How ever said we were comparing Bynum and okafor. Bynum actually could play defense which okafor can't but Bynum had maturity problems. I'd rather have the clarkson Randle potential than okafor and like laker dynasty said that we wouldn't want to wait for a player to grow. Mock me all you want Philly. I'm not leaving the site

25 Aug 2015 23:37:42
Philly your a moron who has thinks sixers are going in the right direction. They've been living off of top picks and trading players for more picks and not singing anyone in free agency because free agents don't know the direction of the team. They trade for more picks with salary dumps. I rejected the Covington trades because clarkson I feel like has more potential than Covington because frankly Covington is only a three point shooter at this point. Wroten was a small sample this year playing only 30 games and having not so good shooting numbers.

25 Aug 2015 23:43:24
I don't jolly myself with berating sixers fans when they start it. We have different opinions so deal with it. clarkson isn't magic. Clarkson is more explosive while magic could do everything on the court and play every position which clarkson can't do. Never compared the two so you got over your self trying to bolster your argument. Sorry I try to use stats which prove you wrong sometimes. Will Covington really help the sixers in the future if he only chucks up threes? Probably not. Mitch kupcheack has come out publicly and said he wants to keep Russell and clarkson together. Like I said sixers would never do it because they don't want a point guard which is a key if okafor becomes better than Bynum like your saying.

25 Aug 2015 23:44:30
Like I said a bunch of guards are available. You posted a lakers trade and most of the time I say something on the post. So you have to be prepared for the response and not get all hurt about it

26 Aug 2015 00:04:27
If okafor was to be like Bynum he would in his best year have to average 19'points 12 rebounds and shoot 70 percent from the free throw line and be regarded as the second best center in the leauge at the time. You asked me if I would take that deal and I said no. Now you say that I'm being a child for answering a question you asked me and you got hurt over it. Kinda like what my friend asked me about his wife before asking her to get married. He asked me what I think she was on a scale of one to ten. he was mad at me for not saying ten when he asked me for my own opinion like you did. Just wanted to throw that out there if your uneducated

26 Aug 2015 00:52:14
Phillyrich this isn't a big deal, don't make it one.

26 Aug 2015 05:24:59
Kiks he always does make it a big deal.
