Bos - phi

Bos - embiid

Phi - T zeller or a Bradley & a draft pick

When philly drafted embiid they were willing to wait but after another set back and the draft of okafor, embiid should no longer be the franchise player. They can get a solid player and a pick for him. Build around okafor, noel, saric and who ever they draft 2016 draft

Boston can take a chance and hope embiid recovers and can play go an all - star caliber big.

Embiids value at this point is a 2 rd pick at best. His injuries may limit him from playing almost at all not to mention being an all star. So trading good NBA player and a pick for him is a joke.

@Jacob embiid is still very young, and if healthy although I know that is a big if, if healthy he could possibly be the second coming of olajuwon(maybe a poor man's version but still). Saying his value is a second round pick at this point is seriously undervaluing him. I mean if porzingis was worth a top five pick why talk so negatively about embiid.

I wish Embiid nothing but the best and I like his talent, still don't believe that he is The Dream 2.0, yet he may be a star. The problem is he is a guy that probably will not play basketball for 2 years or even more. Come on even Oden played something like 82 games in two years and we want to give a value to a guy who played not for 2 years, didn't play pro ball at all so it is hard to do. We saw what injuries did with Rondo, D. Rose, D. Will and many more. I think I' m just being safe with my value of him.

And Porzi will play not like Embiid. He is a talented, hard working and smart dude. The only concern is his frame. He is a project that was worth a gamble with this 4th pick.

Sixer don't trade assets when there at their lowest value. So not a chance this trade occurs.

There's no reason to move Embiid unless someone blows them away. They don't have cap problems. They've invested in the kid. They don't have to rush him back. Everyone loves him.

Hinkie's a gambler. I say keep rolling the dice and let's see if the kid can play next year.

Embiids value is at best a 2nd rounder. that's why he's untradeable. IF healthy, potential beast and clearly far more valuable than any first, let alone a 2nd. But the fact is, it looks more likely than not that his career will never be able to take off. Foot issues in big men are KILLERS. he's not even a Greg Oden. he's Yao Ming. Feet just couldn't heel and thus retired under 30. Sad but true, the sixers at this point should rely on Embiid never playing and plan based off that. Any other strategies at this point would just be unrealistic and irresponsible.

The 76ers and Celtics will never make a trade for anything. Hinkie and Ainge both only do trades in which they are the clear winners and both are good evaluations of talent. Neither would risk looking the fool to the other.

Also Embiids 4,5 mil per year contract is a bad thing at this point. At this moment I would rather get Bennett and not Embiid.

I know everyone is high on embiid, and so am I but for a player to be injured his first 2 seasons in the NBA is bad. That's like drafting an overseas player and stashing him for 2 seasons. I don't think embiid will reach his full potential because injuries will set him back and he haven't been playing basketball all his life like most NBA players. And embiid will not be a superstar with noel and okafor on the same team

Stashed players at least play look at Saric and this is the main difference. Embiid situation is bad for many reasons. Unlike Emeka Okafor he never played pro ball and if everything goes well he will be a rookie that didn't play at all for two years after 1 year in college. In fact it will be harder for him to start than for a standard rookie.

Lubavitcher, completely agree. Compound that with the fact that he started playing bball 4-6 years ago and he has bad juju written all over him. I watched him at lunch a lot and he absolutely dominated but someone that is this new to the game cannot seriously sit for two years and then be expected to come back and steam role people.
