Yes from Sixers.

Just from the Philly perspective:
Sixers give up:
Canaan (don't care)
Miami 1st
Philly 2nd (don't care)
Covington

Philly gets:
Shabazz
Chalmers

I think on a pure talent stand point the Sixers do that. They add two talented players at the expense of a late 1st and a pretty good spot up shooter. They need more players. This is a two for one.

It's really frustrating to see supposed Philly fans with this little understanding of value. Chalmers is terrible and you act like he's an asset. I'm done with this terrible site.

Sixers pass I think. Shabuzz is buried on minnosota. Why should I help them out by giving them max value for a guy that has very little value to them since he's never going to start on that team with Wiggins and lavine?

Sixers may give up Covington and a 2nd rounder. Probably max. No way I'm taking on chalmers contract too in a deal like this.

That seems a tad extreme leuven.

10 Nov 2015 18:52:10
Leuven- sixers need players. Chalmers is competent and at the very least an established pro.

Tre, the wolves have no need to sell low on him. The team is winning. They have no reason to trade him unless a good package comes around. If the sixers refuse to give up what they want, so be it. There are many other teams or they could just hold onto him. What you listed, they have no interest in.

Pizza.

Then that completely fine. But I know the Timberwolves will start kissing very soon. That team is a lottery team easily. So waiting for a max value deal is fine. But just remember. every game shabizz can't beat out lavine and Wiggins for the starting spot his value drops. Eventually the Timberwolves will kill his career in the process of losing and waiting.

I don't understand why you are so positive they will bomb this year. They have a deep rotation, solid starters, play very good defense. Their stats don't appear to be just a hot streak. I wasnt totally sold on the wolves to begin with, but they really do seem like they are built to be very good for years to come.

Also, Lavine is a combo guard, Wiggens is the starting sg. He isn't losing time to them. He's losing time to Prince, the team;'s SF, and as the season progresses, will likely be taking the time back from him. Neither his stock, nor the teams bargaining power appears to be at risk.

I get it, you want him and don't want to give up much for him, but there is zero indication he wants out, they want him out, or that the sixers are the only team that would want him.

Jazz laugh.

Lueven - I see no one saying or even implying that "Chalmers is an asset. "

TreGib - how are you "helping MIN out, " by removing a talented player from the team, regardless of his playing time?

Everyone - when we post four team trades, how about we format it with the "in-out" for each team, to make it easier for every reader to evaluate?

MIN says yes. I might even take the PHI package (Covington and MIA 1st) as well, and save the Sixers from the overpaid Chalmers.
