Tough sell for philly to give up a top five pick this year or next year depending on meeting the protection. I mean next year it's a completely unprotected pick! Those are rare in team that most likely will be in the bottom ten again next year. And if your in the bottom ten there's a chance you could get the number one pick. Idk if Sixers would be willing to give up so much along with Noel for a guy like Russell who has proven nothing so far. He's young though of course. Ehh Sixers might say yes.

Oooo and I'd just take Portland out of the deal. Give the Sixers Randel instead to replace Noel.
That should event he trade out considerably on the Sixers side. So.
Sixers get Randel and russel
Lakers get there first back and Noel.
That works for me.

A) i would say the odds are it WONT be in the top 5 if it is this year, seeing as 1, 2 and 3 go to the lakers, sixers get only 4 and 5.
B) No clue why you would assume the lakers are so sure to be in the bottom 10 next year. They are bad this year, true. But they rid themselves of kobe, they open massive amounts of cap space, an extra year of development and a potential top 3 pick, i REALLY would hope for the sixers sake the pick coems this year, because at worst case, i would strongly believe the lakers can compete for an 8th spot next year and be in the middle of the pack.

Pizza. I assume whenever it transfers it'll be a top five pick honestly. This year it's going to be bad. So the only way we get is if it falls out of the top three on lottery day.
If not its unprotected next year. And with a. Team full of twenty year olds I don't see them making any real progress in free agency. They will try but it would only hurt them like the Lou Williams signing and hibbert trade have. Truth is. Lakers are not drawing anyone anytime soon. Maybe in two years when guys like Randel clarkson Russell deveop.
so using that logic. next year the lakers could easily be in the top ten and possibly worse. Either way Sixers don't seem to care about waiting. Sorry pizza. Bad teams in this league tend to stay bad for a long time.
