The Timberwolves hope Randy Foye can become a cornerstone player as they continue to rebuild. To get there, he must be more consistent. Al Jefferson and Rashad McCants scored 22 points, Foye added a season high 20, and the Timberwolves beat the Jazz 111-100 Tuesday. "We only must be patient", Minnesota coach Randy Wittman said.

Kirk Hinrich was not hesitating. He was taking open jumpers, driving toward the basket, doing everything he would to score. And finally, the shots started falling. Hinrich finished with 27 points after a rough start, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Timberwolves 96-85, spoiling Randy Foye's return from a knee injury Tuesday night.

Timberwolves point guard Randy Foye will be out several weeks due to a lingering knee injury. Tests said a stress reaction in his left kneecap, and the team mentioned the 2nd year player will be out indefinitely.
