Stan Van Gundy predicted at the morning shootaround that Toronto forward Chris Bosh would score 40 points against his Orlando Magic. The Magic coach turned out to be right, and he still got to smile about it. Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis had 22 points apiece as the Magic overcame Bosh's 40 point, 18-rebound night in a 103-90 win in a rematch of 1st round NBA playoff foes.

Rashard Lewis has confidence in the Orlando Magic's offense. However, the Magic showed him that they can play a little defense as well, rallying in the 2nd half to beat the Charlotte Bobcats 94-84 Thursday. Lewis scored 26 points, Dwight Howard 15 and Keith Bogans 14 for Orlando, which overcame a 13 point halftime deficit to win its 3rd consecutive NBA preseason game.

Dwight Howard had 28 points and 10 rebounds and the Orlando Magic overwhelmed defending Euroleague champion CSKA Moscow 94-66 in an exhibition game Friday night. Howard was 10 for 12 from the floor and added 5 steals in 28 minutes, Hedo Turkoglu scored 16 points and Rashard Lewis added 15 as the Magic enhanced to 2-1 in exhibition games.

Rashard Lewis walked out of the Orlando Magic practice complex in street clothes Wednesday, a glossy team picture under his arm. He had no idea what he was going to do for the next few days or weeks.

Please use our Rumors Form to send us your NBA Rumors Rashard Lewis was due for a breakout game. It would not have come at a better time for the Orlando Magic. Lewis, Orlando's big offseason acquisition, scored a career playoff high 33 points and the Magic beat the Pistons 111-86 Wednesday to gain a little momentum in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

It is on now, at least verbally. Whether the Magic can make any significant adjustments on the court to reverse their fortunes in Game 2 tonight remains to be seen, however they certainly have amped up their bravado. Rashard Lewis had taken exception to a comment made by Theo Ratliff Sunday.

The Orlando Magic felt like they had something to prove after a one point home loss earlier this week. They responded with one of their best outings of the season Friday night. Rashard Lewis scored 18 points and Orlando led by as many as 34 in a 113-95 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Orlando Magic found their shooting touch, beyond 23 feet. Rashard Lewis made 3 of 5 3 pointers in scoring 21 points, Dwight Howard had 23 points and 13 rebounds and the Orlando Magic beat the Cavaliers 104-90 Monday night. Orlando shot better from 3 point range (43.8 percent) than it did overall (39.5 percent).

The Toronto Raptors were missing their All Star Monday. Through 3 quarters, the Orlando Magic were basically without theirs, as well. Dwight Howard overcame a slow start to collect 19 points and 14 rebounds, Hedo Turkoglu scored 24 points and Rashard Lewis had 22 as the Magic beat the Raptors 102-87 Tuesday.

Rashard Lewis would see the determination on Dwight Howard's face. A game after getting called out by his coach for focusing too much on offense, Howard had 24 rebounds and 23 points. Lewis added 25 points and the Orlando Magic beat the Nuggets 109-98 Wednesday night.
