Tayshaun Prince more than made up for Allen Iverson's absence, making sure the Pistons remained unbeaten. Prince scored 16 of his 27 points in the 2nd quarter, and Richard Hamilton had 22 to help the Pistons beat the Toronto Raptors 100-93 on Wednesday night.

The Pistons are getting one more chance to return to the NBA finals for the first time since 2005 despite threats that the familiar cast was going to get broken up. Rasheed Wallace said he was not worried about the possibility of getting traded, but he's thankful to have another shot to make a run with Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince.

In some ways, Tayshaun Prince seems like the same player he was when he suddenly went from the bench to playing for the Pistons during the 2003 playoffs. Prince slows down opponents with his tall 6 foot 9, 215 pound frame and basketball IQ.

The Pistons locked up the No.2 seed. The Heat moved closer to locking up 250 chances at the No.1 pick. Rodney Stuckey scored 19 points, Tayshaun Prince added 14 on 6 for 7 shooting and the Pistons secured the 2nd spot on the Eastern Conference playoff bracket with a 91-75 triumph Sunday over the Heat.

With Rasheed Wallace out and Richard Hamilton sticking around for less than a half, it was up to Tayshaun Prince and the Detroit reserves to carry the Pistons. Prince bounced back from a horrendous game in his last trip to Madison Square Garden, scoring 28 points and leading the Pistons to a 101-97 win over the New York Knicks Friday.

Kobe Bryant was unstoppable at times, scoring 10 straight points in the 3rd quarter and finishing with 39. With the game on the line, though, the Pistons prevented him from attempting a game winning shot. Tayshaun Prince made a 3 pointer with 4.5 seconds left and Lamar Odom shot an airball, giving Detroit a 90-89 win over the LA Lakers Thursday.

Tayshaun Prince explained the Pistons have played enough big games over the years to understand there is no reason to adjust their approach over a minor losing streak. Prince could as well were talking about Detroit's domination over the 76ers. "Nothing changes", Prince said.
