LeBron James showered, dressed and then sat down to analyze the evening's boxscore. With so lots of eye-popping digits to digest, it had taken longer than usual. A whole lot longer. James scored 23 points, Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 24 without missing from the floor and the Cavaliers destroyed the Wizards 121-85 Wednesday for their season high 5th straight win.

Everybody knows the Cavaliers are LeBron James' team. He loves it, though, when other guys call some of the shots. Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 25 points, James added 22 and Cleveland rallied to beat the L.A Clippers 103-95 Sunday.

Long after the Cavaliers locker room emptied out, Zydrunas Ilgauskas sat discussing what went wrong, and how to make sure they will be the team popping champagne next season. "For me personally, the thing that hurts so much is to see the other team celebrate", Ilgauskas said.

Hold off on those thoughts of winning Cleveland's 1st title since 1964. For now the Cavaliers have a much smaller goal. "More than anything we only want to win 1 game", Zydrunas Ilgauskas mentioned Wednesday. "Obviously the chances are against us in a big way however we worked so hard for 9 months to get to this point so we have to fight.

Curious to see what LeBron James would do in his 1st NBA finals game, there were probably a number of people watching Game 1 who had never seen the Cavaliers play. And somewhere along the way, they must have had only 1 question. "Why are we here?", Zydrunas Ilgauskas mentioned Friday. The easy answer is because they are the best team in the Eastern Conference.
