MIN/SAS/BOS

Not sure the likelihood of something like this being Kawhi wants to be a LAL.

MIN: Kyrie Irving, Pau Gasol

He named them as a place he wanted to get traded to last year. The Jimmy Butler connection most likely. Obvious risk here with Kyrie and Jimmy both being FA's at the end of the year. The hope is bringing them together keeps them long term with KAT. Pau provides depth in the front court and is a great mentor to KAT.

BOS: Kawhi Leonard

People have suggested Kyrie for Kawhi before. With Rozier in place this could make Kyrie expendable for a player of Kawhi's caliber. Only issue is if Kawhi would stay long term but they have the same questions with Kyrie. This would put Boston all in on the upcoming season but the East is wide open.

SAS: Jeff Teague, Andrew Wiggins, Justin Patton, Memphis Draft pick, Boston 1st 2019, MIN 2019 1st

Spurs get back the 3 first round picks as well as upside with Wiggins and Patton. Teague can provide quality point guard play and hasn't missed the playoffs in years. Give Pop the opportunity to develop Wiggins into being worth that contract which I would not bet against POP. Spurs draft well and having this ammo although the picks from BOS and MIN would be later would give them a chance to retool. MEM pick will convey in 2020 or 2021 which would be the best pick asset from the deal. SAS was the 7 seed without Kawhi too.

Obviously a long shot but could be beneficial to all parties. I know people say Wiggins has no trade value, Kawhi won't stay and Kyrie is never healthy. That is why this could work as each team takes on risk but improves. Haven't looked at the salaries so that could mess it all up anyway. Alright, rip me apart now.

I like the creativity. Thinking that a 3 team deal might be where we are headed with Spurs.

This sounds like a good trade to me, with wiggins Pop can still play at a high level and the salary dump of Pau is also necessary for the spurs!
The only problem for Boston is that they will have 4 wing guys without a descent pg.
