Okc doesn't want to do the repeater tax. They are a small market and way over spending and way under achieving. I believe that they will be unable to find takers for bloated contracts that don't belong to Russ and PG. So, I believe their best option (although very unlikely) is to rebuild.

Hawks receive George, Felicio

Bulls receive Russ, Roberson, Anderson

Okc receives Porter, Bazemore, Plumlee, Markkanen, Hutchinson, #8, #10, #35

Hawks have a great core and George could help catapult them to contender status. They can afford the George contract with all their core guys on rookie deals. Adding a mvp caliber, 2-way player would be huge.

Bulls are a team without a star. Markkanen looks promising, but Russ could be the guy in Chicago. They've been on the hunt for a point guard for years. They also retain their first which is big.

Okc can't afford to have their current roster unless they win a title, and their current roster won't win a title. So this continues...

Okc receives Parsons, two future 2nd rounders

Memphis receives Steven Adams

Memphis had Valanciunas opt out recently, and could use a guy like Adams. JJJ is the future in Memphis, but he needs an enforcer who can do the dirty work. Adams is that guy. Ditching Parsons is a bonus.

OKC buys out Parsons or Bazemore. They save money and have the picks necessary to start over. I believe their window has closed, but a nucleus of Markkanen, Culver, Reddish, Hutchinson, Grant is intriguing.

They can do much better than that for a rebuild. If they get rid of Russ and PG.

Ric- maybe for George. I can't see Russ bringing back much.

That’s way to much for Russ. No way are you getting Markannen. The guy is already on the verge of being a star. I’d rather have him straight up than Russ.

Shiller they might not get much for Westbrook but in that 1st trade their return is for George and Russ both. If they move both of them they can do better than that.

Might be nice for Hawks to rid themselves of a couple bad contracts but not at the expense of two lotto picks. Besides, I don’t see the return fitting their needs anyway.
