ATL OKC

ATL get Adams and OKC 2021 2nd
OKC get Parsons (exp), ATL 2020 lottery protected 1st, and 2022 OKC 1st

ATL needs a C bad and Adams would really help them. 2 1sts may seem like an over pay but they get a likely high 2nd round pick and their pick is protected. They have the salary room to take on Adams contract with the weak 2020 free agency. They lose Parsons who they don't need.

OKC they don't get the pick + young asset they want for Adams but they get 2 picks and the expiring contract they want. I think OKC would be happy with this return and i think the only way they move Adams is for a good return. They can get under luxury without moving Adams so they are only moving him if they get what they want anything less than this and they won't do it.

That’s awful for Atlanta.

I believe the Hawks rather move the Nets 2020 1st rounder, then their own.

Atlanta is not going all in yet. Especially since they are one of the few teams with cap space next offseason so they can get a big without giving up assets. Marc Gasol? Ibaka? Whiteside? Anthony Davis if the LA experiment backfires?
