BOS-CLE-MIN
If towns wants a shot a title i think going to the East would be the easier/ predictable route.

BOS gets Towns,

MIN gets Hayward, Robert Williams, BOS 1st round 20, and ‘22, Kevin Love,

CLE gets Dieng and Covington
Dieng has 1yr on his contact while Covington is a nice 3&D player who can help the front court of him and Thompson tremendously on defense while having KP, Sexton, and Garland focus on the Offense

Kemba/ Edwards
Brown
Smart/ Ojele
Tatum/ Theis
Towns/ Kanter

Garland
Sexton
Porter Jr
Covington
Thompson

*2020/ 21 team,
Culver/ Teague
Wiggins/ Okogie
Hayward/ Layman
Love/
Williams/ Vernon Carey (#10)

This is so bad for Minnesota it's not even funny.

Towns is under contract for 5 years. Even if he wanted out of MIN, the Wolves wouldn’t trade him for at least two. And even if they did trade him, it wouldn’t be for three late 1sts, and Kevin Love’s bad contract.

Go stand in a corner.

Wolves say no. Two overpaid injury prone guys is not good value for towns and Covington.

Sorry, I meant they wouldn’t trade him for “two” late firsts. You even say in your post that BOS is competing for a title to attract Towns — where does that value those firsts?

Btw, imagine how mad Kevin Love would be, if he was traded back to MIN! CLE’s inclusion makes this deal even worse.
