There is probably a trade in here. Maybe I can offer some helpful info.

I love Dieng on the Mavs. Ever since he’s back to starting, he’s putting up tremendous numbers, and shooting the 3. He had a 20 RB game a couple weeks back, he’s nailing 3’d, and he’s currently one spot above Embiid in DRPM (16th in the NBA) . He does all the dirty work, and knows how to play with a star player. He’s still overpriced, but someone that uses him can get a lot of value.

MIN supposedly loves Layman, by all the things they say and the fact that he was the only free agent they gave a multi-year contract too.

I don’t mind MIN auditioning a young PG. Ntilinka, DSJ (who they had converstaions on), or Brunson could each be a motivation to make a trade. I doubt they invest heavily in the PG position this year,
