Knicks drafting ball is a mistake. He can't shoot nor defend. Wiseman or Okongwu gives ny a 1-2 punch at center. If knicks can get 48 minute production from a center position the way Robinson played they would of won 20 more games.

Why would they draft wiseman or okungwu? There going after a pg and they have Robinson. There not signing the Morris bro’s after they traded Marcus and markieff is better off on a min for contender. They would probably trade dsj and cp3 booker back court is a bad idea. Also the thunder wouldn’t trade cp3 for nothing. Maybe dsj, Kevin Knox and Dallas pick.

Drafting a center is a mistake unless they think that Robinson and that player can play together. The issue is that when you’re closing out a game, you are likely benching one of your best players if you go with a center that can’t coexist with Robinson.

Back up center is probably the least important position in the NBA and playing two centers together is a disaster. Particularly, if they can’t shoot, which it doesn’t seem like any of those guys are going to be able to do at a passable level. I saw the Cavs try to play Drummond and Thompson to awful results. Even Drummond/ TT and Love together is pretty roughy defensively.

I agree that they don’t go after Ball, but A) he’ll likely not be on the draft board when the Knicks pick, and B) going after a Center isn’t the answer either.

If they stay steady at six (+/ - a spot), I think the move is either Halliburton or Okoro. I like Halliburton’s length, and hustle. At his peak I think he could be a better shooting, lighter rebounding version of Dejounte.

Okoro would be a great fit at the three. His shooting needs work, but the feedback is that he’s a special defender, great kid, and coaches believe that he’ll put in the work to become a better shooter in the NBA.

Also don’t like dealing five firsts (4 + Barrett) for almost anyone, with the only exception being Giannis. I’m not just saying that for the Knicks, but for any team making that commitment.

Yeah, agreed Triangle. Basically, unless you’re pretty sure you’re going to be a true contender for a championship (Lakers with AD, Clippers with George), that’s too much to give up for one player.

Look at. the Knicks. They gave up a massive trade package for Melo. And it got them no where.

Robinson is a backup center guys he can’t play 30 minutes without fouling out.
