I think we see a Paul trade this summer and I think I have a decent list of teams he would fit well with and could make a trade work. Give me your best Chris Paul trades!

Dallas (some combo of THJ and role players for Paul) to team up and play off of Luka.

San Antonio (some combo of DeRozan and fillers for Paul) to help coach up the young backcourt guys and he fits the team culture there.

New York (either declining all team options and combining Smith Jr/Knox and a Dallas 1st OR combining a few big contracts and both Dallas picks) to reunite with Leon Rose.

Detroit (dark horse option of swapping Griffin for Paul and including an asset to OKC) to try and shift the culture like he did in OKC but in the weaker East.

Thoughts?

NY I guess would be a great candidate.

I think Denver. I think giving them a true vet leader makes their window start now. They have plenty of assets.

Shiller77 assets have nothing to with getting cp3. Nuggets are over the cap and therefore nuggets have to trade their core in order land cp3 under cba rules. Knicks don't need to include smithjr knox nor a 1st. They have players who are not in their core with non guaranteed contract that sum up to 35 mil.

Gibson Bullock Payton Ellington all can be bought for 4.5 mil saving okc 81 mil.

The thing is OKC doesn’t need to save money. No one is going to sign to them. New York needs CP3 more than they need him so they’d rather get assets or not trade him at all.
