New York gets Colin Sexton and pic 17 pick
Cleveland gets pick 1
Minnesota gets pick 5 and 8

New York gets a PG who can shoot and would probably fit better with Barrett than Ball (if they wanted to trade up).
Cleveland takes Wiseman no 1. A lineup of Garland, Porter, Osman, Love, and Wiseman is pretty balanced, if you ask me. And if Drummond opts in, Wiseman can split time with him as a rookie.
Minnesota drafts Vassell at 5 and Patrick Williams at 8. Honestly, none of the guys rumored to be picked at 1 (Edwards, Ball, and Wiseman) really fit with Minnesota. I think both Vassell and Williams fit much better, and offer protection in case either Beasley or Hernangomez leave.

Why does Minny also trade the 17 pick? 5+8 is not enough for the 1st pick alone.

I could see the Wolves doing #1 and #33, but not #17. That’s paying too much.

I gave the Knicks #17 because I don't think Sexton is worth #8 pick alone.

I’d take Sexton over Ball, Wiseman or Edwards every day of the week.
