I really need scorer off the bench

If Magic front office can convince Gary Harris agree sign and trade with Raptors along with Bamba

I know Raptors would love to have Bamba

Raptors say no.

If they "would really love Bamba" they'll try to sign him as an RFA. If they don't get him. meh.

If they want Harris, they'll try to sign him outright.

They've made clear on a few occasions that they don't really value late first rounders as much as other teams, so the Bulls pick would have little to no value to them unless they flipped it in another deal.

I'm not saying GTJ is worth the Magic pick. I'm saying they're not trading him for two free agents and a late first.

@MD its a part of the business. sign and trades are not that common. the Pistons lost KCP for nothing. same with Dinwiddie. that's how things work. Harris and Bamba would rather just sign with a team if ORL does not match than go through the extra hassle of sign and trades. GMs generally feel the same way unless its a franchise-type player. Ayton is the only likely RFA to be a sign and trade and possibly Miles Bridges. but if a team offers your RFA a contract and you don't match it, then sign and trade is out of the question.

Should have traded them if you didn't want to loose them for nothing. That's kinda why Bagley got traded at the deadline.

Unless your getting something that's much better then Trent it's not worth it. He's still super young and had a great season after one year with Nik Nurse. Ross isn't better and Bamba is a free agent. Or can trade for him with picks. And Flynn

Raptor's need to keep trent Jr. And have him slide to 6thman role with OG and Barnes next to freddy and siakim. Then sign a center to help anchor the defensive and rebound.
Trent off the bench there offense will continue to grow. Bringing in help and shooters with size will make them a solid team.
