Why in the world would Portland consider that? Beverly might be the worst player in the NBA. Payton is Beverly but not a headcase and not washed up. And Johnson has some nice upside.

Also, I just hate Bev and would never want him on my team.

Just cut the Lakers out. I’d much rather have Bamba.

I doubt the Magic would do this. Payton and Johnson both would have a head time getting any playing time.
