CLE-POR

Love, Nance
For
Whiteside, Bazemore, 2020 lottery protected 1st, 2022 1st rd pick

Brodie

1.) 11 Dec 2019 11:26:06
I don’t see why nance and Bazemore would be involved. That past doesn’t make much sense for either team.

2.) 11 Dec 2019 11:33:15
Way too much from Portland. Cleveland is going to have to give up picks, not Portland, to move Love's massive contract.

3.) 11 Dec 2019 12:14:23
The Cavs just wouldn’t trade him in that scenario. They don’t have the assets to do something like that. That said, Love is 31, can play pf and center, the deal is less than 30 million towards the end, offensively he fits in on about any team, and there are a lot more buyers than sellers. You can plug him in as a 3rd option offensively and you don’t have to give him a ton of touches to be effective. Even without the ball, he’s keeping defenses honest and helping you’re play makers. I think someone is going to talk themselves into him.

4.) 11 Dec 2019 15:22:42
Cleveland won't be including picks to get rid of Love. Anyone that thinks that should actually read opinions of Love from inside the NBA. They will get some value back for him, guaranteed.

Also, Love's contract is really not that huge compared to the supermaxes out there. He's currently the 22nd highest paid player in the NBA. By the end of his contract, he'll be making about 60% of a max contract. If you think Love making 60% of a max deal is overpaid, you're nuts. Compare Westbrook at 47 million vs Love at 28 in 2022.

That said, yeah, I don't think Nance, Bazemore, and the second first need to be involved. Just Whiteside and a first for Love.

5.) 11 Dec 2019 16:33:37
I think blazers will get more production with nance and love then Bazemore and Whiteside. But I will take Thompson over nance because blazers have Collins long term. Thompson love for Whiteside and Bazemore plus two first.

Love is good for maybe 50 games a year. Cleveland will have to include picks to dump him or the g. m. who trades for him should be fired.

PHI-WAS-OKC

PHI- Gallinari, Schroder

Gets consistent contributers with shorter contracts

WAS - Harris

Makes a new big three with Beal, Wall plus up coming players like Hachimura and Bryant.

OKC - Mahinmi, Bertans, Miles, 2022 PHI 1st and 2021 WAS 1st.

Salary dump team that will net them more future first rounders

Washington makes that move only if they are a playoff team.

2.) 28 Nov 2019 09:36:38
Washington needs to keep their picks and rebuild around Beal.

3.) 02 Dec 2019 06:57:44
Washington won’t have Beal long when he ask for a trade request so they better get him some help Adams and gallo could help them a lot so could Schroeder just up to them what they would want to do but Beal is gunna be requesting that trade soon if some changes aren’t made and if he does get traded okc should go in for him

ATL-IND

Reddish, Crabbe, 2020 BKN pick, 2022 OKC pick

For

Turner

Brodie

1.) 16 Nov 2019 09:26:34
Indiana would be a good destination for Reddish, we can develop him.
But those picks are protected. The Brooklyn pick is lottery protected, the OKC pick even top 20. So those picks could convey in 2 rnd picks.

That's to little for Indy.
We can get a better offer for Turner.

2.) 17 Nov 2019 22:37:35
would Reddish, Crabbe, and 2020 ATL unprotected work?

POR-DET

Bazemore, Whiteside, Simons, 2020 1st rd pick, 2022 top 20 protected 1st.

For

Griffin, Rose, Morris

Portland goes all in, Detroit blows it up.

MIN-OKC

Paul, Ferguson, 2020 OKC 2nd rd pick

For

Dieng, Teague, Culver

Brodie

1.) 14 Nov 2019 11:34:45
No from Minny. Not giving up Culver and expiring deals for Paul’s Albatross contract.

2.) 14 Nov 2019 13:40:26
How many times has anyone discussed the hypothetical Paul-Towns paring? It won't work. Minny won't take Paul.

* add 2022 LAC 1st rd pick from OKC to PHX if draft compensations are not enough.

Expectations are Paul is going to get traded at least this season. Russell is only 23 years old with a 4 year contract. Not too old for a rebuilt. He can play 2 guard too.

Why wouldn't they? Iggy is a better fit with CP3 and Harden for sure.

Adams personificates the Grit and Grind concept of Memphis. He is a better fit with JJJ than JV. He can also be the pick and roll partner of Morant ala Westbrook in OKC. JV can be Kanter-like and destroy opponent's 2nd unit.

WCS: 15.3/ 8.3/ 2.2 in 29 min.

Bogdanovic: 12.2/ 2.0/ 2.6 in 21 min.

Brown:10.9/ 4.3/ 1.3 in 29 min.

While Brown is younger and has more potential. I think WCS+Bogdanovic could help Boston more than Brown would. And Boston needs to accomodate more minutes to Hayward to maximize his talent.
