Collins is under contract for 4 more years, and Wood will be expiring contract next year, hence the meager return in his trade. You don’t give up a lot for a one year rental, particularly one who isn’t a star. As a Hawks fan I’ll be pissed if we trade Collins at all, but I sure as hell ain’t trading him for less than #4 pick. Who on trade market will offer a better player than Collins for 4, on a long term deal.
