DeRozan didn’t seem to do much leading in his career so far. You don’t trade one starter to get a fill in player until your second best player returns from injury. This would be a bad trade for both teams.

Why would the Nuggets want the frequently injured Irving who has a reputation of being a ball hog and selfish teammate. You want to give up 3 players and two picks for him?! No way!

76ers fans have an over inflated opinion of their players. Embiid plays great at times and then disappears or gets injured. Simmons could easily be the most overrated player in the league. The Nuggets don’t want Simmons and won’t trade for him. As much as Malone wants his team to play defense, they just won’t except for short periods of time. The Nuggets will be just fine without that head case, Simmons.
