I like that trade.
Hield is a good replacement, if we can't resign Oladipo. and i'm not sure we should give him a max contract with his injurys.
I'm only not sure this is a good trade for the Kings, they risk losing him for nothing next year, he could get injured again, so giving him a big contract could be toxic and both Oladipo and Fox need the ball, so i'm not sure they're a good backcourt.

I actually like this a lot for the Kings. Sure, there’s some risk. But if you want to dig out of the decade+ of bad play, you have to take risks. Worst case, they flip him at the trade deadline if he doesn’t extend.
The idea that two ball controlling guards/ wings can’t coexist isn’t dead yet? They’re both shoot shooters, so they stretch the floor for each other. And no one can control the ball all game. You need two people to be able to run the offense to be successful.

In the Western conference? How much of a point differential does Oladipo have over Hield? And how many wins does that translate to? 2-3 more?
What if he doesn't come back 100%, lose a lottery pick and then leaves as a FA?
Seems like one step forward and them 2 steps back.

No way Kings do this. Bagley looks like a star, and the Kings took him over Luka and Trae so they love him. Also, Gordon and Vucevic is not an upgrade they were only capable of the 8 seed why better in Sac? Hield for Vuc is one thing, but Bagley? Yeah right.

The trade, while not my favorite, isn't as bad as other ideas I have seen (Gorgei Dieng Tyus Jones and a 1st) . However, I don't think this trade is helping them improve. What they need is a center, and Richaun Holmes has question marks around him. I would love seeing them trade up, preferably for Wiseman or Edwards as I don't think Toppin fits well (same position as Bagley) . I just don't think a late lottery and a late first could move them into the top 5.
