So I've heard ZERO rumors or anything regarding this... but I've heard kinda what these 2 teams are kinda looking to do... so here it is...
I feel like the wolves, bucks and a third team like okc or a team that's looking to move a disgruntled or title chasing star to go young or even complete rebuild...

WOLVES GET: Middleton (who is kinda perfect cause I believe he's a perfect 3rd star type guy)

Bucks GET: CP3 or a different next level player from a team fitting my outline...

OKC/3rd wheel team GET: pack centered around 1st pick and other sprinkles from both teams...

Just a thought..

Maybe some other teams? OKC doesn't deserve the 1st pick for CP3.

2.) 14 Oct 2020 15:35:06
Middleton has significantly more value than Paul.

3.) 17 Oct 2020 23:45:48
Again I was more or less creating an outline for a couple of busy teams to start the wiggle lol.

Wolves and Celtics

Big meow to Boston

Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, Daniel theis + 2 first round picks.

Thought this would be too sweet for the wolves however Boston area reporters are the Originators of the rumor...

Thoughts??

1.) 03 Oct 2020 11:02:26
That's about what it would take, I'm afraid.
Just don't think Boston would move both Brown and Smart. If Ainge could figure out a way to do one or the other, he would.

2.) 03 Oct 2020 11:44:48
It's a good start, but I think the Wolves would want more picks or Tatum instead of Smart or Brown since KAT is signed for four years.

3.) 03 Oct 2020 12:28:55
I won't give Tatum for KAT straight up let alone adding picks. If there's anything they need to pair them up.

4.) 03 Oct 2020 13:43:19
As I said, Tatum or more picks. I did not say Tatum and more picks.

I would give up Tatum for KAT in a heartbeat if it was straight up as wings are much easier to replace then seven footers who can create offense from anywhere on the floor like KAT.

5.) 03 Oct 2020 15:08:16
We have different opinions, for me i'd choose the skill of Tatum on both ends of the floor, he is a superstar in the making from what i saw.

6.) 03 Oct 2020 16:09:25
Tatum isn't being traded. I might even value him more than KAT.

7.) 03 Oct 2020 16:40:19
Tatum>>>>>KAT

Elite wings are the hardest player to get, and they are almost required to win a championship.

Also, Tatum has led his team to more conference finals than KAT has been to the playoffs at all.

8.) 03 Oct 2020 16:43:11
Also, if Smart is the hang up to get KAT, then Smart is being vastly overrated. If that’s all it came down to, and Boston said no, they’d be idiots.

9.) 03 Oct 2020 18:17:52
I'ma timberwolves fan and I think I take the deal. Maybe try a trade with orlando after this trade for gordon and bamba for russell.

10.) 03 Oct 2020 18:22:13
I take the trade and move russell for Aaron gordon and bamba.

11.) 03 Oct 2020 19:58:25
Wrong Bmiller. Elite centers like Davis and KAT are much harder to find than elite wings. It's not even close. Very few seven foot centers with KAT and Davis' skill level. Silly statement to make.

12.) 03 Oct 2020 20:05:17
Wow Bmiller, I just reread your post and you're beyond wrong.
KAT is much more valuable than Tatum and your conference comparison is a joke as Boston would be an average team in the West, if that.

13.) 03 Oct 2020 20:07:18
I'd trade Smart and whatever other fodder for KAT, in a heartbeat.

14.) 03 Oct 2020 22:02:41
2 of the last 16 finals MVPs have been bigs (Duncan and Dirk) . The guys that have won championships in recent memory are Lebron, Kawhi, Durant, Kobe, Wade.

Ignoring position, Tatum is simply a better and more impactful player too. But the idea that teams need a dominant big is not based on modern reality. Teams need an elite wing to win.

15.) 04 Oct 2020 00:49:30
As the league transitions to nonofficial positions, centers are hard to find, no matter the skillset. So, I'm going to have to side with Postal on this one.

16.) 05 Oct 2020 07:45:06
Boston would/ should NOT give up Tatum regardless of what type of player is more vital or more or less common in the league. The only reason they would be going for Meow is too pair with Tatum and Kemba.

03 Oct 2020 10:08:46
Heard this one on a couple different sources, in regards to KAT being moved.
Celtics would be very interested if big meow sets sail from the pups...

Deal looking along these lines...

Kat to celtics

Package of Jaylen Brown,Marcus Smart, Daniel theis and 2 first rd. Picks...
Looked steep at first glance but boston people seem to think that's what would get it done... thoughts?

I'd rather have Tatum, or Brown, or Myles Turner than Kat. I think Kat is a dog, a talented dog but still a dog.

2.) 03 Oct 2020 16:11:44
I don't think KAT is a dog. I think if you pit him on a talented team, he would be a beast.
But Tatum is not being traded for him.

3.) 03 Oct 2020 16:44:41
Taking Turner over KAT is just silly. I assume it’s a joke.

4.) 03 Oct 2020 18:39:49
No it's not a joke that I'd rather have Turner, but keep in mind that part of it is what it takes to get them.

5.) 03 Oct 2020 20:06:23
Turner than KAT. that is hysterical and I'm not even a Wolves fan.

6.) 03 Oct 2020 20:22:05
I thought you meant just straight up, you’d take Turner over KAT. Comparing trades for both is much closer.

To be honest I could see the wolves trading down as far as the 8th pick, as long as they can get some combination of a contributing player in the towns Russell time line( Or player of value for future moves) and more than anything I believe they are going to find a way to get a pick in that stacked draft next year and maybe even 2022 draft which could be a double.... Towns doesn't want out and was checking up on Beasley and wanted to join the team the last third of bubble but couldn't due to C.V. precautions.. was with them at the team trip to floyd memorial.
If he was "as good as gone" he'd be with that fine piece making it's way through the league lol

You can like and respect your teammates and want to be with them, and still not respect management and ownership and want to be traded.

2.) 14 Oct 2020 02:00:34
But he has no reasons to go out of his way to take on leadership on a team he has no interest in being with. And considering he's back here working out or was a day or 2 ago and he was trying to get into the bubble after his PRE approved trip b4 bubble days were announced. Even more so the wolves have done nothing but kiss the ring since the new regime took over the FO.
Furthermore I know what he "can" do/ and say while not wanting/ liking the front office. but that's like when people say why to something and get back a response of "cause. " Technically your right BMILLER66 but not much evidence of it.

Funny how in a good deal of these purposed deals. The warriors seem to come out with a pretty significant advantage, especially when many on here seem to view wiggins and his stomach turning contract somehow/ someway as a positive asset. Just cause the money matches doesn't mean it's a fair deal. and a poop contract and even a lottery pick in 21 is not going to get you George, especially considering how many picks they were fleeced out of by OKC to get him.

I agree that the wolves would ideally like a 2021 pick to move down but I bet if this deal is good enough to do it. With the wolves not in love with Edwards or ball and GSW looking at Wiseman. The Hornets got to jump GS to get there guy who they are in love with. If PJ Washington is the only thing in the way of you getting the 1 guy yr really high on I would do it. PJ was decent last year lil over 12 pts 5 reb 2 assists. On a starless no pressure team expecting to lose. So I think it's a pretty fair trade. Than the wolves left with either ball or Edward's one would assume can either A) Get the guy left in that first tier or B) which I prefer. If ball is left call the Knicks and see if you could squeeze 8 and there 21 to grab Lamelo or maybe a role player and Dallas's pick which New York owns. bulls markkanen or Carter possibly and 4. If Edwards is left try Atlanta for like hunter and or huerter and 6 to move to 3. If no one bites you grab Edward's (for now) walk away with PJ and future picks or whatever you had. If they say yes you take baby BAM or Okoro at 6. 2 cents.

So Wiggins can ruin the books through Zions first contract? Most people would say for GS to get off of that contract alone they would have to be fairly giving. Knicks could probably even beat that offer. 2nd pick and Mn 21 is better
than Culver and the #1 from minny. But not a crazy amount especially without knowing where the pups pick falls next year. Wiggins hurts GSW chances here IMO.

Asdenam::::: Your obviously a warriors fan, and you must be drinking the koolaid. you honestly believe that?!?! Wiggins, (who is a negative asset) Looney, Pool, and the 2nd pick in a poop draft. Even if u throw in the wolves 21. NO FOR SIMMONS EVEN. Let alone COVINGTON as well. No chance, unless for some reason Houston's cool with letting a top 5 player in the nba go while also taking in 2 Even worse contracts and a mess of most likely late 1st rd pick. Wiggins. They would basically be saying were going to take the next 5-8 years before even mentioning the word playoffs. But as long as GSW is happy lol
For real not sure why they would even include them in the deal. Reaching my friend.
