Found this trade proposal that will never happen, but it is intriguing.

GSW-IND-MIN

Warriors get: Myles Turner, TJ Warren, Justin Holiday (S&T)

Pacers get: James Johnson, Pick #1 via MIN, Pick #2 via GSW

Timberwolves get: Victor Oladipo, Andrew Wiggins

Again, it would never happen, but it would be interesting to have a team with the top two draft picks in a class with a clear top few options.

The Warriors would retool for contention, the Wolves would add necessary pieces to contend themselves, and the Pacers would begin a rebuild surrounding Sabonis and Brogdon.

Thoughts?

I saw it too.
I like this for Indy
But i doubt GS would trade the minny pick and i don't think Minny would wiggins want Wiggins back.

Not sure it ever happened that a team had the two first pick in a draft.

TWolves have $35 mil in salary cap space? I thought that they had a max available around $15 mil.

Then trying to imagine Wiggins back in Minnesota.

3.) 10 Nov 2020 18:32:55
Not realistic but fun idea with ok value.

4.) 10 Nov 2020 21:30:29
TJ Warren going nowhere after bubble breakout.

5.) 11 Nov 2020 00:11:45
There is no chance on earth the Wolves are trading #1 for a guy they just paid to get rid of and a guy coming off a major injury. That’s not to mention the salary issue.

6.) 11 Nov 2020 05:10:10
pacers are a legit contender with warren healthy doing another rebuild for them wouldn't be wise.

7.) 11 Nov 2020 06:40:19
Cap has been set at $109.1M. T-wolves only have around $14.5M in cap space.

8.) 11 Nov 2020 07:45:04
So MIN gives up the 2021 1st to get rid of Wiggins, and gives up the 2020 1st to get him back?

Andrew Wiggins . “necessary piece to contend”.

Saw this trade idea online and wanted to share to get everyone's thoughts:

Pacers-Bulls

Pacers get: Zach Lavine, Lauri Markkanen, Thaddeus Young

Bulls get: Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner, T. J. Leaf, 2021 1st

I think this is an interesting trade, let me know what you all think!

Drop the 1st round pick and I'd be ok with the trade.

2.) 23 Oct 2020 03:12:19
It seems like two teams trading to be in almost the same position they were before the trade.

3.) 23 Oct 2020 18:33:14
Pacers giving up more talent than they are receiving plus giving up a future 1st?

4.) 27 Oct 2020 08:32:52
The Pacers have always tried to play Defense. After this trade they could become the worst Defensive team in the East.

Two separate trades for the Pacers!

Pacers-Warriors Trade

Pacers get: Wiggins, Paschall, Pick #2

Warriors get: Turner, Warren, Pacers 2nd

Warriors Starting Lineup:

Curry/Bowman
Thompson/Poole
Warren/Lee
Green/???
Turner/Chriss

Pacers-Nets trade

Pacers get: Levert, Pick #19

Nets get: Oladipo

Nets Starting Lineup:

Irving/Dinwiddie
Oladipo/Temple
Harris/Luwawu-Cabbarot
Durant/Prince
Allen/Jordan

Pacers Lineup:

Brogdon/A. Holiday
Levert/Lamb
Wiggins/J.Holiday
Avdija(#2)/McDermott
Sabonis/Bitadze

The first one makes some sense. Maybe drop Paschall.

I don’t think there should be a pick in the second one and if there is a pick involved I think it’s going the wrong way, but I’m really high on Levert.

2.) 04 Oct 2020 05:13:53
Don't think the Pacers would ever agree to the first trade with Warren involved. If you look at their numbers, they are almost identical, but Warren's salary is only 40% of Wiggin's.

On the second I agree with Rkenne_16. The salaries fall just outside the 125% rule but I am sure there are ways around it and if there aren't then through in either Kurucs' or Musa's contracts.

Pacers:

Ball, Holiday
Brogdon, Lamb

Warren, Leaf
Sabonis, Bitadze

Knicks:

Oladipo, Reddick
Hart, Bullock
Portis, Knox

Pelicans:

Thoughts?

That's too good for the Knicks.

2.) 17 Sep 2020 18:29:59
Pels and KLnicks would say yes. Pacers would pass

3.) 17 Sep 2020 20:26:55
Mitchell Robinson?

4.) 18 Sep 2020 00:16:03
I just randomly came up with this as a Pacers fan, so I figure since everyone thinks its bad for us, I'll defend it:

The Pacers aren't going anywhere. We are a middle of the pack team, not bad enough to get a high pick, not good enough to win it all. I'd rather reset, get more salary cap space, and add some talented youth, and then start from scratch. Maybe I'd throw them a 1st in there somewhere, but eating the money for Randle would be fine by me if we could add two young risers in Ball and Barret.

Just my thought process. Thanks for the comments, it was my first ever attempt!

5.) 18 Sep 2020 22:59:36
I like your energy and understand your thinking. There are some sites that suggest a straight up trade between the Pacers and the Pels. Turner straight up for Ball and Miller. The Numbers work and it would give the Pacers some insurance in case Oladipo left. However most of them go on to point out that there is almost no way that Ball would stay in Indiana. Not near enough lime light. I would have to agree with them but keep thinking. Fun isn't it?

@MD_StaySmooth You couldn't have said all that in one post?

You're clogging the front court even more for the Pacers. Aaron Gordon would come in to be the 6th man, because Warren, Sabonis, Turner will be the 3-4-5 unless one of them is traded, and each of them hold much more value than Gordon so a deal including them wouldn't make sense unless we got more back.

Lol no it is not equal. Pacers would never even consider this. Turner is the frontrunner for DPOY, why would they move him for an inconsistent piece and nothing else?

I would agree with Shizzee, I wouldn't send a 1st on top of the other pieces for Ross.

Lol this trade is horrible for the Pacers. Giving up Turner AND Oladipo for next to nothing.
