Bulls trade Gasol
Wizards trade Humphries, Blair, 2016 first round pick (lottery protected till 2017 then turns into 2017 and 2018 second round picks) .
Bulls reportedly will trade Gasol for a rotation player and a first round pick. Humphries and Blair provide rotational depth in the front court and can be waived this offseason at no cost.
Wizards make the shake up move to add Gasol in hopes of making a playoff push. Gasol would provide low post scoring and still can hit the three pointer.

Heat trade Roberts, Stokes, cash
Heat get Blazers 2019 second round pick (top 55 protected)
Pistons trade Anthony, cash, 2016 second round pick
Pistons get Roberts
Blazers trade 2019 second round pick (top 55 protected)
Blazers get Stokes, Anthony, cash from Pistons and Heat, Pistons 2016 second round pick
Heat send cash to cover Stokes salary and with this trade get under the tax line and save money. Since every team in a trade get something they get the Blazers highly protected pick.
Pistons send cash to cover Anthony's contract and a second round pick to get a back up PG after trading Jennings.
Blazers take on Anthony's contract (and waive him) and in return for there hassle they get Stokes (young player on rookie deal), cash, and a second round pick.

Pelicans trade Anderson, Cole, Gee, Perkins
Pistons trade, Tolliver, Anthony, Blake, Bullock, 2016 and 2018 second round picks.
Pelicans are heading for the lottery again this season and don't want pay Anderson the $16-18M per season he is going to get as a FA this summer. So trading him now while taking back no long term salary is their best option. In this trade they get two future second round picks and former first round pick Bullock (who has 3-D potential) . Plus they get Gee's contract off their books for next year.
Pistons need to add a back up PG after trading Jennings to the Magic. Cole provides tough defensive and championship experience to a team looking to make the playoffs for the first time in several years. Anderson provides a legit stretch-4 to play next to Drummond much like he did for Head Coach Van Gundy next to Howard. Perkins provides locker room help and brings championship experience.

1) Again? Pels were not lottery last year
2) They would never make that trade.
2.) 17 Feb 2016 15:54:19
why do the piston want Anderson they just trade for Harris

Pistons trade Anthony, 2016 second round pick
Pistons get Augustin
Thunder trade Augustin, Novak, Hornets 2017 second round pick
Thunder get Blazers 2019 second round pick (top 55 protected)
Blazers trade 2019 second round pick (top 55 protected)
Blazers get Anthony, Novak (both waived), Pistons 2016 second round pick, Hornets 2017 second round pick (from Thunder) .
Pistons are looking for a veteran back up PG after trading away Jennings.
Thunder shed two players who aren't in the rotation to lower their tax bill by almost $12M and open up two roster spots for buy out players.
Blazers are way under the cap floor and add $6.3M of expiring contracts to help get to the cap floor. For their troubles and money they get two second round picks.

I like it, Augustin could help the Blazers and be a good guy off the bench for them as an upgrade over Tim Frazier.

According to reports the Clippers have a deal in place to send Stephenson to the Magic for Frye, however the Clippers are working on a mega deal that would including Stephenson first. I have no idea if this is it but it would make sense.
Clippers trade Griffin, Stephenson
Clippers get Millsap, Ariza, Mack
Rockets trade Ariza, Lawson, Dekker, 2018 first round pick, 2020 first round pick (lottery protected till 2022 then becomes 2022 second round pick)
Rockets get Griffin, Teague
Hawks trade Millsap, Teague, Mack
Hawks get Lawson, Stephenson, Dekker, Rockets 2018 and 2020 first round picks
Clippers swap out Griffin for two players who better fit with the team and the mode they are in. Ariza provides the 3-D player they need and Millsap upgrades their defense and provides better floor spacing for CP3-DJ pick and rolls.
Rockets add their third star player to go with Harden and Howard. Brewer replaces Ariza at the starting SF spot. Teague upgrades the PG spot and can play off the ball with Harden. Plus if the Rockets can court KD this offseason he will be playing with a great line up of Teague/ Harden/ Durant/ Griffin/ Capela. That line up would be unstoppable.
Hawks move out two former all stars and get back over $19M in expiring contracts to use in cap space this summer to chase free agents (maybe hometown Dwight Howard? ) . And if they choice to go the rebuild process they add two future first round picks and Dekker who was a middle of a first round pick in last years draft who had upside as a 3-D player.
This trade pushes the Clippers into the same class as the Thunder, Spurs, Warriors as championship contenders. With the Rockets adding Griffin and Teague pushes them into the fifth seed in the west.
Again this trade isn't likely to happen but if the Clippers want to make a big move this makes sense.

Wolves - Blazers
Wolves trade Neal
Blazers trade Claver (waived), Barton
Wolves have no need for Neal so a buy out is an option but by trading Neal to the playoff Blazers not only shows good sportsmanship allowing a vet to play for a playoff team but it also will bring them back a prospect (Barton) and even with waving Claver the team saves close to a million dollars. Neal provides a weak Blazers bench with leadership and three point shooting.
1.) Good trade

76ers - Knicks
76ers trade Kirilenko (buy out)
Knicks trade Calderon, Hardaway Jr, Wear, Early, Cavs 2019 second round pick
Knicks need to move Calderon out in order to have a clean cap slate (outside of Melo's contract) next season in order to sign to max players. The price to pay to move Calderon is the young prospects of Hardaway Jr, Wear, and Early. The Sixers should be willing to finishing paying out the rest of Calderon's three year deal with this return. The prospects will get PT in Philly to develop and Calderon would be a good mentor to MCW. The Knicks buy out the suspended Kirilenko and will drop below the tax line, which could become very important for repeat offender down the line when the max contracts start to build up.

Pacers - Blazers
Pacers get West, Miles, Allen, Stuckey
Blazers get Robinson, Wright, McCollum, Leonard, 2015 first round pick.
Pacers are struggling and should be looking to move West for some assets. Former first round picks Leonard and McCollum plus a first round pick.
Blazers may not need West but adding him as another low post/mid post scorer (like Aldridge) is smart incase Aldridge gets hurt again. Miles and Stucky provide upgrades at the back up wing spots over McCollum (who needs time to develop) and Wright.

Wolves - Celtics - Blazers
Wolves trade Martin, Pekovic
Wolves get Thornton, Wright, Leonard, Blazers 2015 first round pick, Nets 2018 first round pick (from Celtics)
Celtics trade Thornton, Bass, Nets 2018 first round pick
Celtics get Pekovic, Robinson
Blazers trade Wright, Leonard, Robinson, 2015 first round pick
Blazers get Martin, Bass
Wolves move out two players not part of their long term plans for two future first round picks and some expiring contracts.
Celtics take one of their million draft picks and get themselves a bruising physically low post scorer when healthy.
Blazers have yet to make a trade to improve for the playoffs and with Aldridge hurt they need to add a face up power forward. Adding Martin (scoring for a weak bench) and Bass (starter till Aldridge returns and then defensive big off bench) keeps the Blazers right up at the top of the west with the Warriors.

Celtics - Grizzlies
Celtics receive Tayshaun Prince, Jordan Adams, top 12 protected 2016 first round pick.
Grizzlies receive Jeff Green
Celtics fresh off trading Rondo keep on acquiring first round picks by shipping off Green for an expiring contract (Prince), the Grizzlies first round selection in 2014 draft (Adams), and the first round pick in 2016 to go along with their own pick and the Nets.
Grizzlies seeing the Mavericks just adding Rondo add Green to provide more scoring and shooting from the small forward spot. A spot that clearly needs upgraded over Prince and out of position Tony Allen.

The fact is the Wizards were NEVER EVER shopping Wall.
01 Feb 2017 01:36:12
Ever heard of a thing called salary cap and rondo contract being a lot more than what cavs can take in
01 Feb 2017 01:15:21
I like it for both teams but not likely to happen.
18 Feb 2016 02:02:29
Remove one of Hunter or Young and only one first round pick, maybe swap in a couple of second round picks instead.
17 Feb 2016 22:22:05
Clippers get worst. Only Cavs get better. Won't happen.
Yeah I wish but I have Zero faith it will happen.
