ORL: Cam Reddish, John Collins

ATL: Terrance Ross, Mo Bamba, Chuma Okeke, R. J. Hampton, '23 1st (CHI), '25 1st (DEN)

First of all, I'm a fan of all three of the young Magic players but understand you have to give something to get something. Atlanta would be getting Ross to help with this year as well as a lot of defense for the future on cheap contracts. Orlando would be getting two players with scoring potential on the same timeline of their current lineup and keep their draft picks.

Orlando future rotation:
G: Suggs, Fultz, Anthony
F: Wagner, Reddish, Isaac
Bigs: Collins, Carter, '22 1st

Atlanta would be able to sign another max player after next season (assuming Bamba doesn't get a crazy contract) and will have a lot of pieces around Trae.

Let me know what you guys think :)

Doesn’t really make sense for Hawks. They already have Capela and Okongwu, no reason to pay Bamba after this year. Reddish has more potential than Hampton. Okeke has been eh and they already have Johnson instead.

Seems like a weak package to give up their 2nd best player and a young potential all star.

No way. Atlanta become much better deals, for Collins, and reddish. Collins is altlantas number two and Ross and bamba are rotation players in this, hawks team. Reddish have more upside than Ross

The two picks are number 15-30

Thats a very bad deal for the hawks.

That package is good enough for Reddish. Collins is a star and will cost much more.

ORL - Ross, Harris, Bamba, 5, 8

GSW - Wiggins, Wiseman, 7, 14

Orlando absorbs Wiggins contract and gives the higher draft picks. Maybe the Magic get the combination of Barnes and Bouknight.

Golden State gets more stability on their bench and can take a shot at Kuminga and maybe a big man like Kai Jones.

Who says no?

Kinda hard to actually say yes, when teams have no idea what players are available at those picks in the draft.

2.) 25 Jun 2021 23:37:57
GS says no. Pick 5 is not worth anymore than 7. Wiseman Wiggins worth more than Ross Harris and Bamba.

3.) 26 Jun 2021 13:18:06
When a team is absorbing a contract of a certain player, they usually get a pick to do so, sometimes multiple picks. Adding Wiseman sort of offsets absorbing Wiggins contract though. So basically you have Orlando trading Ross, Harris, and Bamba (for salary matching purposes) and 5 and 8 for 7 and 14 and absorbing Wiggins contract. As much as Orlando could use Wiggins and Wiseman they would say no to this. If it was Ross, Harris, Bamba and Denver's 2025 1st for Wiggins and Wiseman (and maybe a future 1st) I think the deal gets done.

4.) 27 Jun 2021 07:14:47
teams genarally gets a pick to absorb huge contract and the other team get salary relief. but in this trade gsw doesn't get salary relief. they will pay the same money to ross harris and bamba. they don't get salary relief and they are giving better players. wiggins is better than harris, wiseman has more value than ross and bamba combined.

They would be getting salary cap relief for next offseason.

ORL/ NOP

Orlando recieves: Soloman Hill, #4 Pick

NOP recieves: Bamba, #46 Pick

New Orleans has their starting five of the future and sheds salary for free agency

Orlando can resign Vuc and are given the option of resigning Ross or replacing him through the draft.

I love it for magic. Doubt it happens.

ORL - CHA

Let me know what you guys think about this:

ORL Gets:

Dwight Howard
Michael Kidd-Gilcrist
Malik Monk

CHA Gets:

Nikola Vucevic
Mario Hezonja
Evan Fournier

The Hornets get rid of two bad contracts....the Magic get a prospect and some better defense. With Biyombo's contract, the Magic aren't in any position for free agents this summer anyways other than resigning Gordon and possibly Payton.

CHA getting too much, and not giving up enough. ORL is getting the short end of the deal.

2.) 02 feb 2018 21:53:35
exchange payton for henzonja and you have a deal.

ORL - JAZZ

With the Jazz and Magic both open for business, the Jazz are looking to win now while Gobert is young. My trade goes like this...

ORL Gets: Ricky Rubio, Rodney Hood

UTAH Gets: Evan Fournier, Elfrid Payton

1.) 29 Jan 2018 04:01:37
Payton and Rubio are pretty much the same person.

2.) 29 Jan 2018 04:31:19
Kingslover, Payton is significantly younger, a better scorer, a better shooter, and a much better athlete. Rubio is the defender and a much better passer.

I wonder what the interest would be in taking Bamba instead of the #8. I do think there’s a good framework for a deal…. especially if the Cavs really do like Kuminga.

I actually love this deal for the Magic. I'm not sure if Spurs fans feel would feel the same.

I'd also be curious to see if working with Pop would improve Vuc even more. I think us Magic fans out here want Vuc to succeed whether he's with us or someone else.

Vassell is a perfect prospect for us with him being a 3&D player with a lot of upside. With this trade, you'd have Vassell, Okeke, Issac, and Bamba as an amazing defensive core while we would have our PGs scoring and distributing for open threes.

I thought that the trade would work because Lillard and McCullum don't really work well together and they need some position flexibility.
