This trade needs multiple things to happen for it to actually happen.

Chi - Okc - Sac

Bulls get
Bogdan Bogdanović
Andre Roberson
Justin James
Okc 2020 2nd
Thunder get
Marvin Bagley
Otto Porter Jr.

Kings get
Danillo Gallinari
2020 Denver 1st
2020 Chicago 1st

Bulls clear cap without giving up lauri. (clear cap for AD)

Thunder eat Otto's contract while trying to get the best out of him. Thunder also gets a promising young player in Marvin Bagley.

Sacramento tries to jump start their rebuild by acquiring Danillo. They also get two first in the process.

The only way i see Okc doing this is if they trade either Chris Paul or Steven Adams.

NO, NO, NO, NO. Not enough for Bagley, Bogdanovich and James. Not even close to enough.

Now a Bogdanovich + Ariza for Porter + pick.

3.) 08 Nov 2019 13:19:43
why would sacramento trade Bagley for that?

4.) 08 Nov 2019 17:05:31
I love how OKC fans think an expiring deal like Gallo and #25+ draft pick will get you a #2 draft pick talent.

5.) 08 Nov 2019 17:56:36
Agree with Fredman and I'm an okc fan. Bagley worth more.

Presti is too smart to trade any okc picks before he sees what picks they are. The only way he starts unloading picks is if the owner tells him to to cut costs or to trade for a top ten player; otherwise, the best thing to do is wait and develop players. With 16 first round picks in the next 7 years, okc can get any player they want, college or pro. It is a warchest of leverage that has never been seen before. That's why every team wants some of Okc's picks.

Its a war chest of picks that can be used to trade for teams "disgruntled" stars or those that they can't resign.

Personally, not really a fan of OKC's non-OKC picks. I doubt any of them will be lower than 20.

8.) 09 Nov 2019 15:36:40
Agree initially that okc picks will be low. at first. When Leonard, George and Harden are long gone or at the end of their careers, half those picks could be extremely valuable. That's why Presti will wait until he sees what each pick is. It's the smart move.

U can still get good players at 20 look At the joker he was like a 26 pick and Presti really knows how to pick talent

So kings are jump starting a rebuild by trading last years no.2 overall pick? I fail to see one shred of logic in that statement. Hard pass.

Paul wants to win a ring no matter what he will gladly be the third option on the Mavs, comparing him to melo makes literally no sense.

As an Okc fan this is a great move, you get out of Chris Paul's and Schröder's contract. You get players that can fill needs while they are here, whose contract expires after the season. A decent player in covington and a bloated contract in deng. Then you get some young talent. The only downside of this deal is dengs contract. I didn't include min first bc i believe it would have to go to GSW.
