OKC get Mahinmi (exp)
WAS get Schroder and 2nd round pick

OKC get out of Schroders 2nd year left on his contract and clear the PG jam opening more minutes at PG for SGA and more minutes for other young guards like Diallo and Burton.

WAS has a PG problem. Thomas is injured and will miss a while and has a bad injury history. Wall is obviously out a long time. They fix their need at PG getting a younger healthier option. And get a 2nd round pick for taking on Schroders 2nd year of contract.

Because of a lack of bigs on Washington's roster, moving Mahimi for Schroeder just creates another hole in the roster.

Unless OKC adds Noel while Washington adds Bonga after Dec 15th.

i don’t see okc getting rid of Schroeder and a second round pick they will get more in return when playoff teams need a good scoring pg

Im an OKC fan and ill admit unless we are taking back a bad contract we aren't getting out of Schroder without giving up a pick. And Fredman even if they waited adding Noel wouldn't work he has a no trade clause and i doubt he agrees to go to WAS. They could throw in Patton instead so they still get a C in return.
