So Utah traded their 2020 first to Memphis in the Conley deal. That pick also has protections through 2024 so Utah only had one first rounder available to be traded at this time (2026). Not sure how you are including Utah's 2020 + 2022 picks in this deal.

Isn't three draft picks a lot for Bamba and Isaac?

Bamba and Isaac both should start to develop and Orlando already has Vucevic and A gordon for those spots. The draft picks gives them flexebility and time. They can draft prospects or they can use them to get a better pointguard or shooting guard (B Beal could be available this year? ) .

The Spurs without LMA are nog going to make the playoffs, so that Spurs pick could go high.
And it's still not sure Bamba and Isaac are going to make it. And they won't for sure if they stay in Orlando getting limited minutes behind Vucevic and A Gordon.

But this in a non trade indeed, i should have checked that Utah traded their picks to Memphis.

Young talent in the Spurs organization make it. Period. Issac alone can be at LMA-level in 2 years in the Spurs organization.
