Why would Detroit do that?

06 Nov 2019 10:28:35
That is horrible for Detroit.

Great! Another Chris Paul-Blake Griffin reunion. Add 2 firsts from OKC to Detroit.

Fredman, I think you need atleast 3, if they have to take on that Batum deal.

I think I was thinking 2 of their "better" first round picks. But 3 of their "lower" firsts (2020 Denver pick for example) works for me as well.

Abour this scenario:
Pistons can save 35 M $ for Drummond and Kennard.
Batum can help Doumbouya (life style and player developement)
Open the PF spot for Christian Wood
A up-tempo point guard (can play starter or from bench)
A rim protector

Schroder - Rose - Frazier
Kennard - Brown - Thomas
Batum - Snell - Mykhailiuk
Wood - Morris - Doumbouya
Drummond - Biyombo - Maker.

Thunder aren't giving up their picks. Every team wants Okc's picks and it's not going to happen. With 16 first rounders over the next seven years, after Gallinari is traded, they only have to hit on a few of those picks to be elite for the next 15 years. Okc doesn't have to do anything.

Okc isn't giving up their picks. Everyone wants their picks, but they aren't going to get them. Presti is too smart to dump picks before he sees where they land in the draft.
