Word is that Love's preferred destination is Portland. And Cleveland is now open to moving him. So what does it take?

Whiteside and Love have contracts that could be swapped, so only two players would be needed if they wanted to go a Whiteside and picks for Love. Does that do it?

I wouldn’t trade Nurkic for Love unless a pick is headed to Portland. I -might- be talked into a Whiteside and Collins for Love deal, but I like Collins a lot. I don’t like Love as much.

Raptors - Bazemore and Henson
Blazers - Love and Thompson

- Cavs get 2 exp contracts and 2 young players in Collins and Johnson
- Raptors add wing scorer and still gets a backup big
- Blazers add 2 bigs that work well together and will help out tremendously.

Why not just do Whiteside and a first and cut Toronto out? It's not like Ibaka has some great value (especially to a rebuilding team) .

And if Portland was willing to include Collins, I think Cleveland would cut Toronto out and just take him for themselves.
