Blowing things up doesn’t mean trading for the Mavs trash and Kennard is their best young player.

I am partly agree - also if Hardaway could become one of the better SG in the league or is already on both sides of the floor. I would consider to Keep him.
Kennard may be their best young Player so it makes really not so much sense for them and they would Need a Center in Exchange but Maybe:

Drummond, Snell
Hardaway, Lee, GS 2nd 2020.
