The George trade shouldn't be considered to be the yardstick for future top 10 player trades. the Clippers only went as far as they did because they considered it a trade for George and Kawhi…. in effect it sets the standard for trading for 2 top 10 players.

I do agree with you Cwalk. We have Gallo and tons of picks to burn. We need to give Minnesota an offer they can't refuse. SGA is off limits, but I'd have no problem dumping 5 first round picks for KAT. That would still leave us 12 over the next few years which is still crazy good.

Incorrect wlndrapsfan, Anthony Davis was traded for three first round players and three first round picks. George, even with Leonard attached was traded for SGA, Gallo and five first round picks which is seven total. The standard has been set twice now, plus the Westbrook trade. If you want a top ten player, it's going to cost five first rounders minimum.

Four or five. Doesn't really matter because we have so many. 17 picks after Gallo is traded. We could package them four at a time whenever we see a top ten player that wants out of somewhere. Can you imagine KAT with SGA for the next ten years, plus three more top ten players? We don't even need to draft, nor wait, just trade when a star becomes available. That haul of picks is unprecedented.

And you asked me why would he choose okc well hmm let me think here maybe cause they are actually in the playoff picture and we got picks to upgrade to win a championship eventually I heard New York want him but why would he go there it’s a circus there right now I just don’t see very many other teams that can pull off a trade that can put a good enough package
