Hes a free agent, so I'd assume he would leave.
I do hate Whiteside, but I don't see giving up a first for a rental during a lost season. Drummond and Nurkic couldn't coexist, and Nurkic will be back in less than a month (if reports can be believed) . And even if Nurkic isn't the same as before, they wouldn't know that until after Drummond is a free agent.
