knicks receive- dangelo russel
GSW receive- marcus morris, kevin knox, nitilkina , both dallas first round picks


KNICKS receive- devin booker, Tyler johnson
pheonix receives - RJ barret, julius randle, DSJ, bobby portis, and 2020 first round pick no protections


both GSW & Pheonix, can flip a couple of those players which are coveted by other teams such as DSJ,and kevin Knox

Golden State will be looking for an all-star to run with Steph and Klay in exchange for Russell, even if it means waiting until the summer and packaging their 1st rounder. they won't settle for Knicks' scraps
the Phoenix trade doesn't work for salary cap reasons. maybe if you took Portis salary out, but the talent is nowhere close to matching.
NYK execs haven't shown themselves capable of winning a trade. why would that start now?

I don’t hate either trade for any side.

GS restocks assets and gets some role players and (low end upside) youth. They could create an interesting trade package in the draft or summer.

Phoenix getting Barrett and a top 5 pick for Booker seems fair.

And the Knicks land two borderline star guards that will lead them to first round exists for a few years. Seems like a Knicks “all in” move.

I doubt Phoenix is ready to move on from Booker. That’s definitely the hang up of that trade.

Still a lousy trade for Phoenix. add at least one more 1st, maybe 2.

So what about the 2 players both GSW and Phoenix has to waive to get everyone on the roster?

There is a loss of that talent that has to be added into this as well.

How are building a team with all guards, Gibson and Robinson. smh. Russell is a stat guy on bad teams. He can't play defense. to soft ny. Wiggens pick for Russell. Warriors need SF and Wolves need a scoring PG

Shizzee yur trade is just as bad. Why would phoenix want Knicks garbage? Then they'd be the worst team in the league. Barrett's value is no where near what it was going into the draft. You would have to add 3 first and barrett and suns still laugh.
