I think New York should trade Ellington payton Portis and Gibson before their salary become guaranted and take some picks. They shouldn't give big contracts before 21 free agency. For example if hornets want to dump salary. Batum and pick for Portis and Gibson. It is just an example. Contending teams don't have cap space so they can use Knicks to open cap space.

I don't think calling the Knicks as a landing spot for CP3 this summer is unreasonable. Leon Rose just got hired and represents Paul. Could be a good match. Any CP3 deal will get complicated due to money and age tho.
