Probably not enough for Beal the way he's been playing but could be a start. BOS also get a very good young center in the process.

Yeah, hard to imagine any Beal to Boston deal that didn't include Brown. But Brown, Williams, Langford, and 2-3 firsts seems like decent value.

Don't see why the Celtics need Beal. not with giving up all that for him. Giving Beal the ball would take it out of Tatum's hands. Plus, would Beal like having to defer to Tatum? Brown has been the ultimate team professional and he compliments Tatum on the court.

Beal is the better offensive player and Beal played well beside John Wall, who’s way more ball dominant than Tatum. Plus, Beal is a threat off ball as a shooter.

He may be a better player with Wall not playing, but he wouldn't get as many touches with Wall on the court.
I see zero upside for the Celtics in this deal. Especially with all they'd need to give up.

Why do people constantly talk about stars "taking the ball out of the hands" of other stars? Beal has always seemed like a guy that can thrive on and off the ball. Tatum and Beal both can't control the ball all game, they NEED someone to take the burden off their shoulders.

Boston needs Beal because talent wins, and Beal is more talented than Brown. If you want to win championships, you amass as much talent as you possibly can.
