Why would Freddy leave? He has good teammates around him.
If that's not enough, he could get about 18mil per year or like 5y 90m.

I’m not saying he should leave. I agree it’s a great situation for him. Just raising the question of whether he would leave for a bigger payday and chance to lead his own team. While he is credited I Toronto for good play, he seems like he is still in Lowry’s shadow. Don’t get me wrong, I think he should stay, just think he’ll have plenty of suitors.

I’d be shocked if he didn’t chase a huge payday. He’s made under 20 million his career so far. Get one huge contract while you’re still under 30 and a hot commodity.

freddy is the future starting PG raptors would to stupid to let him walk. lowry has two 3 more years tops left and freddy has a good 8 before thinking of retiring. raptors need to keep the roster the same but add a few lengthy wing players. behind OG. if I were them I would resign gasol 10 mil Ibaka 15 to 18 mil. freddy to about 90mil 4years or hope he takes less. shorter term like 15 mil for 2 years then see where Lowry's at.
once this is all said and done. they should try to pry Barrett away from the knicks say Powell and some young prospects and draft picks. and have siakim Barrett and freddy as your main guys with the role players like Ibaka for a few more years and davis.
