Celtics: Mo Bamba
Magic: Romeo Langford, Vincent Poirier, MIL 2020 1st & BOS 2020 1st

Magic: Magic add two late picks while clearing up front court log jams. Langford is a talented player which made him a lottery pick and has shown positive offensive flashes, something Orlando is looking for.

Celtics: Mo Bamba is a versatile center with great size and touch. However with the amount of front court talent Orlando has had in recent years his growth has seemed stunted. Boston, a team always in the market for centers, would get a player who fits the timeline of their young stars and could thrive in a Brad Stevens system. Bamba/Theis/Williams could be a very serviceable big man rotation.

That seems like a lot for a guy that hasn’t show much.

A 5 and 5 guy is worth two firsts? I think a straight Langford - Bamba swap makes more sense.

Limited opportunities. Not saying he has shown much but his potential is clear. Boston can’t sign all the players they will draft this season because of roster size and getting a guy like Bamba who is still raw could be smart imo. Per 36 Bamba averaged 14pts 12.5 rebs and 3.5 blocks.

hey, you’re absolutely not wrong. sounds like both teams can benefit from this then.

Bamba has size and athleticism, but doesn't go all-out, can't defend the PNR and can't shoot from outside. All are deal-breakers in Boston's system. Celtics might give Langford and Grant Williams for the chance to see if they can light a fire under Bamba, but probably no more.
