Unless the Knicks be a top 3 team all of a sudden, that is a horrible trade for them. Otto Porter for a 2021 Knicks 1st could be one of the worst trade in the History.

Again, not understanding the CBA.

GSW trade can only happen using Iggy's exception, but will put the Warriors over the hard cap for this season which it can not do. So there goes doing it before the lottery. Not sure they can do it after the lottery and the start of the next season.

Not sure where Chicago is getting nearly $80 mil in cap space to sign AD and Drummond. They currently don't even have enough cap space to sign AD to a supermax deal.

D Jones Jr is a UFA. So is Chicago paying him $13 mil/ year for at least 3 years so that a S&T using Thaddeus Young works? LOL!

Using trade excepcion won't put them in hardcap. Sign and trade put teams in hard cap sutuation.

Hard cap 2019 (before lottery) is $138,928,000

GsW current salaries is $132,317,044

So how is adding $16+ mil in salary not going over the hard cap, asdenam? They are still in a hard cap situation from the Durant/ DLo S&Ts at the start of the season.

When the season over hard cap situation is over. And when the trade season open the normal season will over.
