Kings pass. Would rather keep Barnes+Hields declining contracts than take on Horford increasing deal (in the last year Horford costs almost as much as Barnes and Hield combined) . Scraps are not enough compensation.

Horfords last contract year is only 14 mil garanties. And if full paid doesn't Come close to 18 + 20 mil.

Horford last year $14.5 mil guarenteed, $19.5 mil if Philly makes it to the Finals (possible this year), $26.5 if not waived. Do you really think Kings are trading Barnes+Hield for a guy that they can opt out on in 2 years? Will take Barnes+Hields numbers at $38 mil versus Horford at $26.5 mil any day of the week. Hell, I will take Hield at $20 mil by himself over Horford in 3 years. The scraps are not enough for me to overlook this.

Thats why i attached jrich, (and scott en z. Smith) and 2020 2nd rnd pick and future pick.

Barnes is believed to be overpayed also, that's why he is in the deal imo.

You act like the scraps have value. They dont.

In Kings POV, Barnes=Jrich (Barnes better stats, team leader, but costs more) . So your trade really boils down Hield for Horford + a future first. Like I said, pass.
