Why wouldn’t indy just cut Orlando out and take the top pick and Wiggins? Take a shot at a star instead of a mid first and a nice role player.

Agreed, BMiller66. I’d even argue that Golden State would be better cutting out Indiana and going for depth while merely trading back in the first round this year and keeping the Minnesota pick in next years draft.

Can you overvalue Sabonis anymore?

Gordon and 2 lottery picks?

21 Jul 2020 16:54:33
Bmiller you are right. it would be better for pacers. but pacers has to add more salary. there is 10 million difference. sabonis and mcdermott or lamb for wiggins and picks.

Orlando’s pick isn’t a lottery pick. And Sabonis is a 24 year old all star. He’s putting up 19, 12, and 5, a 21 PER, and a solid defensive rating. He’s the best player on a team that’s tied with Phili. He should have similar value as Beal, Booker, George, etc.

GS wouldn’t be better cutting Indy out because again, Sabonis is a star. Depth is nice, but adding a fourth star to GS would push them back to head and shoulders above everyone else when healthy.

Sabonis is a perfect fit for GS, they should jump on it.

Indy could cut Orlando out of this deal. But our owner is cheap. Indy could keep Oladipo in this case.

C:M Turner
PF:A Gordon
SF:Warren
SG:Oladipo
PG:Brogdon

This is a team with a good ballance on offense and defense.
