Boston won't do that.

Collin can’t be a point guard unless the Cavs have someone else to be the de facto pg with him in the starting line up. Maybe, KPJ could be that in a few years, if everything goes perfectly, but that’s a big gamble to make considering Garland’s disappointing year being pretty excusable.

Why would Boston trade the 17th pick this year for a pick that would be 28-30? If the pick they were getting had a chance to be a lottery pick, they mighr take a chance. But this deal makes zero sense.

Washington wouldn’t do that. Garland had such a bad rookie season that it wouldn’t be worth it. Plus, wall might have an awful contract but even if he comes back 60-80%, he’s still an upgrade over garland.

Washington would rather draft a player who might work out that trade for one that doesn't seem to be working out. Way overvaluing Garland roght now.

Boston might trade Cleveland #26 or #30 for Milwaukee's 2022 (not 2021) first, seriously doubt they would get #17 (that still may turn into a lottery pick if Memphis looses the playin series) .

Why would Boston trade a mid-teens pick THIS year for what would probably be a worse pick NEXT year? I can see trading this year's pick for what might be something better next year.

Clevland has Milwaulkee's 2022 first, not 2021 first.
